Honda and DriveOhio pilot sensor-driven system to accelerate road repairs in the US
Honda and DriveOhio ran a limited Ohio pilot using vehicle-mounted vision and LiDAR to detect damaged signs, guardrails, potholes and rough pavement, surveying roughly 3,000 miles. The test produced high detection rates and a projected annual saving of about $4.5 million for the state if integrated into maintenance workflows at scale.
