ComEd ups EV investment with $70M rebate package, prioritizes equity and fleets
ComEd, Exelon’s Illinois distribution arm, announced a new $70 million tranche of electric vehicle rebates and infrastructure funding, joining an earlier $160 million commitment and claiming credit for enabling over 10,000 chargers in the state. The program targets businesses and public fleets with large rebates, reserves more than half of funds for low-income and historically underserved communities, and allocates money for home and public charging site preparation.
